Hey y'all,
I noticed my OBS on my NDI output computer is using about 55-60 Mbps. The computer receiving it is only using ~9 Mbps.
I wanted to use NDI as a solution for a project I'm doing where I have some PCs where Streamers can play games together in person, and then I would be able to pull all their streams into my own stream and switch between them. So I would just have them stream with their own stream collection, but then turn on NDI Output on Program for each of them. I want to know the network requirements per setup I should consider. How can I add that up?
I did want to point out, where I am testing this (not the workplace) as a proof of concept, one NDI's upload is much higher than a speedtest with my ISP says. I assume that is because NDI is all local, which is why I am interested in finding out how I can roughly calculate how much I would need per NDI (and Stream to Twitch/Youtube), since if a speedtest doesn't show relevant data for that I need to know.
Thank you!
