Hey guys.

I'll be getting fiber on Monday next week and i'm wondering which of the two is better quality. I have a 1080P monitor and im' wondering if it'll be best to downgrade the resolution in the video setting to 1280x720 which would be native or to use 1600x900 and then downscale to 1280x720 and use the Lanczos filter.

Thanks.

The base resolution in OBS should always fit to your monitor resolution or the resolution of the content (game/program) you show. Then you have the option to change the final output size using the downscale and getting the benefit of the filters.
If you change your base resolution to something else and then also downscale the image will be resized two times and only once with a filter to make it look good.

O.K so leave it 1920x1080 (native) and downscale to 1280x720? Would that have the best picture resolution?
