Question / Help OBS mutes desktop on launch

Have had no issues with OBS sound while using Logitech headphones and mic. however Ive just tried using JBL Bluetooth earphones and when I open OBS I loose sound.
The earphones are working, I can hear game sound and spotify until OBS opens and then I lose it.
The mic works as I can see the levels jumping on the OBS mixer. No movement on the desktop audio mixer though.
As soon as i shut OBS the sound comes back.
Ideas?

JBL Reflect Mini BT Stereo are the earphones I was trying to setup.

Hm the only lines I can find in association with JBL are:

13:18:42.401: WASAPI: Device 'Headphones (JBL Reflect Mini BT Stereo)' Terminated
But unfortunately I don't know if this could be the cause :-(

Try to ask @Fenrir what Bluetooth devices are compatible
(Desktop, no sound when OBS is opened, other issues
Getting no Audio using Bluetooth Skullcandies.).

So an update, checked out those older threads.
Disabled the mic on my earphones and now the sound is working as it should.
Have my old headphones sitting on the desk and using that mic at the moment.
Eventually will get a boom mic.
