I've been messing around with Studio at work and found out that using Skullcandy Ink'd Wireless headphones none of my desktop audio works with OBS. I have messed with any OBS settings I can find and any windows settings I can find and haven't figured it out.

Can you be more specific by what you mean when you say "desktop audio doesn't work"? Are you not hearing anything in your headphones? Or is OBS not picking them up? Do you have the right device selected in Settings -> Audio? Assuming all that, please post a log.

Check your Communications settings in the windows sound control panel, and make sure that the radio box is on "Do Nothing"

OBS should work just fine with that, it's just a standard audio device as far as I can tell. The only error I'm seeing is:

Code:
12:06:40.165: DShow: HDevice::ConnectPins: failed to connect pins (0x80040207): The owner SID on a per-user subscription doesn't exist

Which is related to your webcam.

Now I see an error in that log:

Code:
[WASAPISource::WASAPISource] Device '{0.0.0.00000000}.{0f9ae6ba-34bc-41b2-b9c6-4701b99b9e21}' not found. Waiting for device

Any advice on what to do to fix it? If it can be fixed?

Were there drivers for the device? Maybe try reinstalling them. However, it looks like the device itself is crashing for some reason, but hard to say why.

Hi! I have the same issue using a bluetooth headset. As soon as I open the software the audio is gone, youtube videos stay frozen and the only thing working is the mic. If I close OBS, the audio instantly start working again. When I open the software without admin rights, the audio works but the mic doesn't and is all the opposite if I open the software with admin rights. I've tried everything and it just doesn't work. I don't know what else to do.

Hi I have the same problem with my new Sony MDR-1000x.

Related thread that could explain technicalities?

Issues experienced so far except from the "no audio output" mentioned in OP:

BSOD when I turned of headphones.
OBS crashed while not doing anything in OBS, log file

Another thread that might be related:

My headset has two registered playback devices in windows.

When I open OBS the sound is played through the "hands-free" one, with crap quality.
If I just use the voice recorder in Windows there is no problem, I can record my voice and playback and sound comes with nice quality in the "Stereo" one.

Any ideas how to solve this in OBS or if it is even possible?
Let me know if you need any more details!

Here is a video that explains it all, there are a lot of comments which suggests running as admin would solve it.
I can't get that workaround to fix it. And as also suggested, I'm already running 64bit version.

I have Win10 btw...
And I have a bluetooth headset compared to the USB one mentioned in the video.

I just tried with the Windows 10 Game Bar Broadcasting feature and the same result, lol.
Didn't expect that...

I have attempted to replicate this with several Bluetooth headsets I own, and have not been able to. I'm not sure the issue here is with OBS, but rather cheaper headsets that can't simultaneously use both the speakers and mic on the headset. I bet one or the other works, but not both at the same time. This is not something that can be fixed in OBS.

Similar problem here solved same way.
Different set of bluetooth headphones.
When I opened OBS Studio 64 bit 0.16.6, the sound in my headphones stopped immediately.
I went into Windows 10 "Recording Devices" and disabled my bluetooth microphone and sounds with OBS flowed through my headphones.
