Question / Help OBS Monitor Capture

hey,
I'm trying to use OBS monitor capture to and just getting a black screen. ive seen plenty of people with similar issues and ive tried to perform all of the suggested actions such as selecting appropriate video adaptors as I'm using a laptop. however no matter which one I select, both monitor and game captures return a black screen. i would like to get both features working, even if not simultaneously, but I'm mostly interested in the monitor capture feature. here is the link to my latest logfile:

Monitor capture doesn't work with switchable graphics. if you really have to use it, you have to undo the change and make sure that OBS runs on the onboard intel and set intel in the video tab of obs.

warning, you will have to redo the changes in order for any other capture method to work.

thank u for ur reply, i think I'm just gonna use OBS for game capture feature and use some other software fro screen recording purposes. don't really want to have to go through the whole process each time I'm switching between one and the other. thanks again!

Its not just an OBS thing but a design flaw with switchable graphics. That being said, the "fix" is tried to a service like OBS so using something else might be alright so you dont have to redo the changes again, and again.
