Question / Help OBS mic - ptt not detected

As stated in the topic title OBS does not detect the button i want to use as the PTT button.
I have the following setup:
Samson Meteor microphone
Logitech driving force GT
I want to use button #15 on the GT as a push to talk button, but OBS does not recognize the button, in fact, OBS doesn't recognize any of the buttons from the Logitech steering wheel.

Funny enough Teamspeak does recognize it, so it appears to me that the click is being seen in Windows.
But i can't get it to work in OBS.
Any suggestions ?

If it's a custom key/button, it probably won't get detected right now. It really has to be mapped to a normal key/button.

Hiya Jim,
Thank you for your answer. I allready tried that, the Logitech suite lets me remap the default buttons to different keyboard buttons. But that still doesn't work. Teamspeak will "see" the click but OBS won't.
Is there no config file in OBS where i can set button #15 ?

I guess teamspeak has a better keyboard handler than OBS in that case. Our current hotkey stuff doesn't detect mapped keys, it detects only actual keys.

Ok. Is there any other way around the button issue ?
Like having OBS pick up the audio signal after the microphone ?

Hi.

Exactly the same situation here: Teamspeak recognizes Driving Force GT "button 3", which I'm using for Push-To-Talk, just fine. OBS, doesn't seem to see the device at all. :/

I understand there's been some sorta xinput-gamepad PTT feature added maybe a year ago.. Why won't it work with DFGT?

Any hacks or workarounds available?
