Hey.

Playing around in OBS for a while now.. But i cant find out how much Max birate i can use and buffer size.
From what i know, an employer from twitch sad that they does not allow users to use more than 3500 bitrate, ok an employer sad that, then i guess i need to trust ho for that one.

If this is wrong plz tell me, then i would LOVE to send a message to twitch since a employer sad this.

But anyway! Buffer size, this is how much the viewer need to load/buffer BEFORE he will recive a picture, right ?
And what is the best buffer size to set it to ?
I have now set it to Buffer size: 1000, did that after watching 10 toturials from youtube. All of them sad 1000 is the best for e view to load, because people with bad connection could not see the stream if it was on like 3000-5000.

Plz tell me if im wrong!
And sorry for my bad English.

Twitch urges users to not go above 3500kbps.

It's best to leave the buffer equal to the bit rate. Leave the "Use custom buffer" box unchecked.

Aha, thanks :)
But if i do that, would it not be harder for a view to buffer the video, the view must wait much longer to watch.. ?

No, that's not how it works...it's very complicated. Go look for how VBV buffer works, because it's probably one of the most complicated concepts to explain in x264 encoding and I don't think I could do it justice. But that's not how it works.
