Question / Help OBS making game lag

Hello, I am having a problem when I stream, I am not sure if viewers can see it, but it makes me lag spike often in game (which can mess you up hardcore, especially since this happens often). So I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on what settings to use to lower the upload usage with keeping good quality. I currently have problems streaming Tribes Ascend and Smite. Tribes Ascend is a fast paced FPS, smite is MOBA. While streaming my CPU usuage is around 20-30% and ram is sitting at about 3.0-4.0 gb out of 8gb. I have downloaded a bandwidth monitor and have noticed it spiking to 4.8-5.8 mbps which I imagine that is making me lag spike, warp, rubber band in game.

Right now my settings are: using Quicksync
60 FPS (tried 30, didn't seem to help)
2700 bitrate (anything lower really make the stream fuzzy)
Resolution downscale: 1280x720 (I play the game at 1920x1080)
Filter: Lanczos (i've tried bilinear as well, it didn't help at all)
I believe everything else is default.

My specs are:
i7 4770k
AMD Radeon r9 200 series (3gb)
8 gigs dual channel DDR3 ram
SSD hard drive
windows 7 ultimate
Maximus VI Hero motherboard

According to http://testmy.net:
Upload speed: 4.1 Mbps
Download speed: 45

Down below is a 1 minute clip of Tribes Ascend. When I throw to grenades at my feet you see fuzz, and you will definitely notice when i grab the flag it happens real bad. Once I go below 2700 it does it too often. I am debating to going back to 3k bitrate just because I lag either way.

Thank you for the quick response!

So in game I warp (be at one spot, game stops, then my character is in another). Also I lag spike (very obvious for tribes because you have to lead your shot, also my shot will be delayed by a second or 2 from when I shoot, which then i can just hit tab and check my ping and it jumps from 50-60 to 120ish and sometime 300ish). Sometimes it can be the server, but the consistency of the lag spikes is only when I stream, else the games run smoothly.

From the test these are my results:

There is an option called minimize network impact that should work for you. it seems that you have the available bandwidth so that isn't an issue.
