OBS looks noticeably worse than source on a still-image

Using Flameshot (Lightshot alternative on Linux) i took an image of the source material and the recorded footage of the escape menu with no moving parts.

The second image looks noticeably pixelated, grainy, and the color is off. This was recorded with placeboo, 8000 bitrate, CBR in 1080p. (The source itself is also 1080p)

Hardware encoding produces similar results, my prior experience with Windows was a much better image that didn't look this pixelated and grainy.

Increasing the bitrate to 100.000 changes nothing and the problem itself is not related to bitrate, but the encoding on Linux produces worse results than the Windows equivalent.

This looks like pseudo interlacing.. try a different player. This has been observed before.
