Question / Help OBS/LOGITECH WEBCAM AUDIO ISSUES

I've been using OBS for a while now and there's been a problem with recording with Logitech webcams at resolutions above 720p and getting audio crackling. I actually get the audio crackling at 720p recording. I'd like to use OBS for full screen vlog recordings.

I've tried all the fixes. I've switched USB ports, I've uninstalled and reinstalled all OBS and Logitech software, I have the issue with OBS 32/64 bit and OBS Studio. I've tried every setting in OBS I can think of.

I've seen this issue on the forums for a while now and I've never seen there be any real resolution for this issue.

Will there ever be a real fix for this?

Not in OBS Classic. You didn't post a log file so I can't be sure it applies to you, but most people have problems when they run their Logitech webcam at more than 720p (but not everyone). My theory is that their computer's USB busses can't handle the bandwidth, and that it isn't an actual OBS issue at all. Even if it is an OBS issue, development for OBS Classic has all but stopped, effort is going into OBS Studio now.
