Question / Help obs lags, but game runs 120fps

The stream is fine (i think) it streams what the obs is putting out, but the obs lags, it shutters and stuggles to keep up with the game, as the game pushes without and frame rate loss or anything.

Pc specs:

cpu: amd fx(tm) eight core processor 4.00ghz
ram: 8gb
os: 64bit win 7
Graphics Chipset AMD Radeon R9 280 Series (x2)(crossfire)
