Question / Help Obs Laggy Settings!

My english is bad so i start quick with my question :)

This are the specs of my pc:
CPU: Intel Xeon e3-v1231
GPU: Sapphire Radeon R9 280x
RAM: 2x4 GB Crucial Ballistix Sports
HDD: 1TB WD 7200 rpm
PSU: 530W be quiet! Pure Power L8
MOBO: ASRock B85M Pro 3 Rev.2
OS: Win 8.1

My Internet Speed is 50.000 kbs Download and 2500 kbs Upload.
Can you guys suggest me some settings?

(I want to stream CS:GO btw)

Your upload speed is really low...it not ur pc its the upload speed try lowering the resolution and bitrate

720p @ 30fps. 1600 bitrate, 96kb/s audio bitrate. dont expect the best quality btw.

I dont think that he can do 720 with his upload speed...if he kept it at 480 with a 2500 bitrate and 192k/bs audio i think he would be good

that would give him a 2700 bitrate stream which will 1. saturate is upload and 2 studder on the stream.

EDIT: stream resolution has almost nothing to do with upload speed.


the video bitrate does not calculate audio, so audio bitrate + video bitrate = obs upload used. that and you want no more than 80% of upload but that is more of a guideline and never guaranteed.
