I have a problem with obs: I can record CS:GO and other games in 1080p without any problems. But when i record minecraft i have like 10-20 FPS,no matter what settings, also on the lowest resolution i only get like 5 FPS boost. Where is the problem?

My PC Specs:

CPU: Amd APU A10-7800 quad core 3.5 GHZ
GPU:Amd Radeon R7 240 4GB
RAM:8
OS:Windows 8.1

you could try the VCE build of OBS. this will take the majority of the stress off your CPU and put more on unused parts of your APU(GPU part).

It doesn't work.I cant start recording or preview with AMD VCE selectet in the encoding section.I get this error: Encoder Initialization failed!
did you make sure to install both 32 and 64bit versions of C++? also, drivers will need to be up-to-date and maybe even a wipe and reinstall of drivers with DDU (google it if you have questions)
post your logfile please:

I just realized (sorry for the confusion), your APU (onboard graphics) supports VCE, but the dedicated R7 240 does not :(

can you switch your primary monitor to the onboard header? and test? If thats to much trouble VCE might not be the solution for you.
I dont think i can do this:((. So what should i do now?:((Is there anything else i could try?

your motherboard doesn't have an on board monitor plug? is it a laptop?

I think your best bet is to set OBS downscaled to 480p 30fps usings x264. I dont know why they would pair your APU with VCE and a dGPU that doesn't.

It's not a laptop but i don't know how to do it.

So you could take your monitor data cable and take it from the dedicated graphics card and plug it in to the onboard slot

If that doesn't work, just move it back. Other than this I think you're out of options without upgrading your CPU or GPU or both.

The thing that is really pissing me off is that like a few weeks ago i could record minecraft without problems as well.So where is the damn logic??!

If you are talking x264, watch the other processes that are running, if you've installed a texture pack or something that could be added on to mincraft try removing it and see if you are still having issues. Something had to have changed.

i'm only hearing about your issue now, so my suggestions are based on what I would do in your situation.
