Lag is a very ambiguous term. what exactly is lagging? the encoder seems to be fine. is the picture skipping? is the preview stop and starting during busy scenes?Hello,
while I stream with my Elgato Game Capture HD, my OBS is lagging a bit. When I chosse Stream-Preview, it's lagging too!
Can someone help me?
OBS log in in this Post too!
other than trying a different USB port, I dont know what else could be wrong. try a USB 3.0 portOn my PS4 erverything is running good! But in OBS the video from my PS4 is a bit laggy!
When I stream with the Elagato Software, everyrhing is okay! But I have all plugins I need for OBS configured!
You're trying to stream at 1080p.
In OBS, set the downscale to 720p(1.5x) then try again.
and your running the 32bit version of OBS. what of it? 32bit only recognizes 4GB of RAM. anyway, I think Elgato only has 32 bit drivers so running 32 bit is fine.In the log OBS said iI only have 4GB RAM/physical memory.
But actually I have 12 GB RAM/physical memory!

can you upload a sample video of how it is lagging? just a local recording then upload to youtube?Okay. Yes, Elgato only have 32bit drivers. In the 64 bit version is a red screen!

I didn't see anymajor skipping past that one.
so it only skips once was my point. does it skip more than once if you stream for a while? is it during scene changes?I only noticed this problem with my Elgato!
