OBS Lag When Minimized or on Second Monitor During Game Loading Screens

Hey everyone,

I'm encountering a strange issue with OBS on my new high-end PC. Streaming generally works perfectly, but I've noticed that OBS starts lagging specifically when it's minimized or when I have it on my second monitor. The lag only happens during game loading screens, character select or when I'm in the game menu. The game is valorant.

Here's what happens:

• The game itself runs smoothly without any lag.
• The lag affects only my webcam and audio in OBS and on stream.
• The moment I click back on OBS (bring it to the foreground), the lag immediately stops.

Two of my friends think it might be an internet issue, but I'm not convinced because:

• My download and upload speeds aren't even close to being maxed out while streaming.
• If it was an internet problem, the lag shouldn't disappear just by bringing OBS back to the foreground.

It seems like some sort of resource or prioritization problem. Has anyone experienced something similar or have any suggestions on how to fix this?
