Question / Help OBS KEEPS ON RESTARTING/DROPPING FRAMES BUT INTERNET SPEED IS FINE

It just starting happening today and I've not changed in the settings. It drops frames during streams and attempts to reconnect every time now. At one point it even refused to connect to the server. My upload speed is fine (8Mb)

Your connection is unstable.

Stop streaming over wifi. This is the most common cause; wifi isn't meant to be a replacement for a network cable, especially in a throughput-critical, constant-rate needed application like streaming. It's meant for lightweight use by mobile devices. It's VERY prone to interference, and bandwidth is shared even on separate networks (so if your neighbor's AP is on channel 6, as is yours, and they start transferring a big file over wireless, your available bandwidth will be reduced).

May also want to try a different server given it's taking ~850ms for a handshake (normal should be sub-400).
