Hey Guys,
So i stream to twitch and for the longest time my stream was good. recently i have had this major issue. Ill be streaming, happy go lucky, and then all of a sudden i start dropping frames like no tomorrow, and my bit rate just keeps jumping up and down.
I have tried every OBS optimization, computer optimization, and network optimization possible.
I have a i7-4770k, ssd, 4gb graphic card, 32gb ram. Cox network 60 down 5 up. windows 7 64 bit, and jobs 64 bit. my bitrate is 3500 and 3500 buffer.
i have tried on wifi, and cat 6.
i have tried morning noon night. no one else on the internet, and lots of people.
Some days its perfect all day, other days, i can't stream at all. i can upload and download everything else no problem.
I have had cox out here like 6 times, had 3 routers, and they say everything is working fine.
I'm really frustrated and just want to stream. please help.
