Any scene without a webcam previews fine with no issues but the problem that I am having is whenever I preview a scene with a webcam as one of the sources it freezes my computer completely and I have to restart. It even freezes my computer if I add a video capture source while previewing the stream. The webcam is not being used by any other program, I don't have a capture card of any sort, and I tried it with a custom resolution and without but the same result happens.
Things I have not tried yet: using the 32bit version, re-installing OBS completely.
