Question / Help OBS is not picking up microphone, or any audio on my computer.

I have been getting this problem with OBS recently. I haven't streamed in about a month, and when I was about to start streaming, I opened OBS and realized my microphone or audio levels were not getting recognized. I went into settings, and it shows my mic and output device set to what I want them to be. The audio levels at the bottom right are red, but the green bar that usually moves while I speak isn't there. I really don't understand the problem, my microphone works in teamspeak and skype, but OBS doesn't pick it up.

Can someone please help with this issue, I would really appreciate it!

Check audio format in windows playback and recording devices and ensure all match with OBS. it will either be 44100Hz or 48000Hz. also you might need try tiggling it to another input in OBS then back to your device.
