I crash about 5 times every week ... I run obs almost 24-7 and it works except for when it crashes (over heated).. --- the newest problem, the files it records and saves don't appear in my finder window,, and I forget how I solved this problem last time the video files are there because obs saved them and I can see them in the obs file browser inside obs just not in finder ... so yeah can someone refresh my memory to how I got my finder to see the obs recordings??

thanks in advance

crashing once again after about 14 hours of broadcasting ,,,, i have included the obs error report that was getting sent to apple ,.. i am going to look for the obs error information in the application files. and include that too... it must be some kind of configuration error or the over heating problem ,..

I am not sure this is everyone's solution, but after months of digging and the discord support, this ended up being my solution.

I haven't read all the posts, but mentioning this while I remember:

I was having very similar issues as OP. I didn't look into it a whole lot as I was still able to get the job done... but recently changed my workflow a bit, and I haven't seen the issue since.

The change was:

Before - I streamed with the built in "Youtube" Service.
After - I use the "Custom" service

Now the app shuts down, and reopens completely fine. No bug reports or "Do you want to run in Safe Mode".

On the subject of buttons not working. I wrestled with this for a while. I _think_ unplugging and replugging my hdml capture devices has helped.
