Question / Help OBS impacts Vindictus pretty heavily

I can play the game at 60+ fps with obs running but the second I START streaming or even do a preview it absolutely KILLS my fps to where I am getting 30fps TOPS, adding the game capture does nothing as it doesn't actually capture the game which leaves me with desktop capture, which for the most part hasn't really impacted any other games.

I'm somewhat disconcerted by the fact that you have one window capture, one monitor capture, and a whopping twenty-three game capture sources active at the same time.

I don't see why, they aren't doing anything, the game capture isn't even capturing anything just a black screen, and all those game captures are from games I have played, don't really see the need to remove them as it hasn't hurt anything. I think the window capture was when I was trying to capture Sacrifice but to no avail at the time.

If possible, try a new scene with only one capture first. Having 23 sources active is not a good thing, regardless of whether you think they're doing anything or not

I just tried with a completely new scene, both game capture(captures nothing, black screen), window capture and monitor capture reduced my fps to 30 and below.

Aero needs to be enabled for Window Capture to perform well in Windows 7. Avoid using monitor capture completely until/unless you move to Windows 8.

Decided to try and capture Vindictus, sadly getting the same thing.

I can stream it -okay- with XSplit 1.3 (game capture with optimization off), but OBS fails window/monitor capture and game capture makes the game run at 5FPS. No solution really produces an acceptable level of playability,

I have a feeling I need to finally switch over to Windows 7.. *sigh*
