Question / Help OBS High ping

When I stream League of Legends on other streaming apps my ping stays around 90ish. When I stream with OBS using the same settings more or less my ping is avg 200+. Its way to difficult to play.

Does anyone know why this may be occuring. I've been using 3200 bit rate for both programs.

Ok, I will update this when I get to the computer I stream from. Might be a day or so so I will update the thread then. Out on business currently.
 
"Low latency mode" in broadcast settings is what you want to use to fix the issue.
 
do you have the needed upload? if you take to much upload for your stream it would be normal to get high pings
 
I turned on Low latency mode and received the same results which is why I came here. As I mentioned I use the same settings (if not higher settings) on xsplit and experience far less lag then I do with OBC.
 
try out "automatic low latency mode" in advanced as well along with that
 
that's also a possibility. if you don't make bandwidth room for your game then you'll have high ping regardless properly
