1. start obs
2. start game mark of the ninja
3. minimize game

4a. add game capture source
5a. hit preview stream or start streaming
6a. maximize game

4b. add window/monitor capture source
5b. hit preview or start streaming
6b. maximize game
7b. play for a minute or so - the stream/preview has terrible fps

after this obs crashes, logs and minidump are from using game capture.

I just played Mark of the Ninja for several minutes with game capture without any problems, for what it's worth.

k, the problem was the game was using integrated graphics. after switching to dedicated video card it started working. thanks for the help guys.
