I record super smash brawl with an Elgato and I am wondering if I need a GPU for recording/streaming.

PC Specs:
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-78LMT AM3+
CPU: AMD FX 6300 Vishera 6-core

and 8GB of ram

obs is cpu use only there is encoding settings to use a gpu but it is really buggy
so short answer no
