It does. The 32bit version and 64bit version are all in one installer. And I pasted you a screenshot of my installed updates, it's not there. And my firewall is deactivated. 32bit version made no difference either.

Even though the firewall is deactivated, i would still manually go in there and add OBS. I had to do this with some other programs when firewall was off. But when i used to stream with one PC, i had very similar issues to you with Win. 8.1. When i uninstalled those security updates, problem was solved. Make sure also, you don't have windows automatically installing your updates, because if you find those security updates, they will just re-install.

About the 32 and 64 bit, you can't select which one to use anymore right? Because when i checked the files, there was no option anymore to do so. It was just OBS.exe, that's it...just wondering

For 32/64 bit, check your start menu shortcuts, or in 'Program Files (x86)' and normal 'Program Files', there are 2 OBS folders. And no, I have Windows Update disabled too. And manually adding OBS to the firewall didn't do anything, obviously not, since the problem is not network related.

I'll check those folders again..hmmm..weird...anyway. While you were streaming, have had to shutdown OBS inadvertently. Or did your computer lockup? you'd be surprised how that can corrupt files for your drivers and OBS. Have you tried a complete reinstall of OBS and video drivers? Also, and i know this sucks...but i do it all the time if i can't get something right within windows....a fresh re-format and re-install of windows. You'd be surprised how this solves almost all PC issues that are not hardware related. I have a separate SSD drive and i re-format every so often just to keep things fresh. It's a pain because you have to start all over, but if you haven't done it in a while or at all, you should take a day and do it.

I tried reinstalling OBS, that didn't fix the problem. And I'm not going to re-install Windows or format my HDD. I have only one and no backup possibilities; considering I need about 400-500GB of space for backups, OCH/Cloud is out of the question, so no. And no, OBS didn't crash or anything, and my computer never had any issues either.

I hear ya...it's a pain, but it has always fixed any window issues. Let's try something else...close down your OBS and use Shadow play to stream and see if it works? If it does...then it's a security update that's blocking your OBS either from a virus software or windows security update. If it doesn't work, could be a connection/cable issue. Or if it doesn't work with shadow play, then it could be a port forwarding issue. sometimes you have to open your ports in your router or assign a port. Also, you may have to call your ISP and tell them to open your ports. This happened to me until i found and uninstalled the windows security update and no more problems.

There is no Shadowplay for AMD. And as I said, I have no anti-virus or security updates installed. And, not to disrespect you since you've been trying to help all this time, but, what the fuck? Port forwarding when my screen isn't being displayed? Have you lost your sanity?

Fullscreen games do not render when they do not have focus, so they will not display when you are not in-game. If you're alt-tabbing out of game to check OBS, the game will not render, so it will not appear to work in OBS. It will start working again once you go back into the game. This is a big reason people get 2 monitors, so they can check the preview without alt-tabbing. You can also just make a local recording to see if it's working, checking the recording afterward.

Create global sources and add them to your scenes after, fixed that issue with game capture for me.
