Question / Help OBS Game Audio

I have seen many posts about trying to get game audio to run in OBS through headphones, however I cannot see to get the same results when I look into my options. I stream Xbox One games through an Elgato HD60 Pro and use Turtle Beach PX22. The audio outputs to the stream no problem what-so-ever. The issue is that I cannot hear the game audio. I have tried setting my headphones as default in the settings under audio but so far nothing comes through. Is there any suggestions someone may have for this?

If you are trying to listen to the game audio through the streaming machine, you need to set the elgato source to output audio through desktop. Though I should warn that there will be a delay in the sound you hear compared to what happens in game. The recording will be on point, so it will not affect that. Just how you play.

Sorry with such a late reply, I tried as you said to set the elgato source to output audio through desktop however they was an issue with the stream when I tried to do it this way. The stream appeared choppy and would stutter when that option was selected.
