OBS framerate spikes.

About a year ago I used OBS to record Minecraft it would record well at 1080p 60 with shaders and everything on full. I tried again to record some Minecraft recently and it was really bad. I tried 720p 30 with bitrate set to 1000 and CPU on ultrafast and it had huge lags. I was getting around 1 frame per 5 seconds. What happened and how do I fix it?

are you playing on the latest version of minecraft?

the newer versions (especially 1.16) are more demanding than the previous ones

Please post a log with your issue! Here's how...

OBS Studio creates a log file each time you run it which contains very useful diagnostic information. Without a log file, it's much harder for any support volunteers to figure out problems and your post may be ignored. To upload a log file, go to the Help menu > Log Files > Upload Last Log...
