While streaming in game frame rate drops occasionally but OBS fps is down to 19 most of the time, it mostly only happens when i stream Rainbow six siege, but also in some other games.

Specs:
GTX 970
FX 8350
8 gig ram

it says my post is too long so i apologize for posting only a link

What boildown said plux make sure you actually need anitcheat hook. you might not, but then again you might. If it doesn't need it, dont use it.

you have 3 game captures in the same scene, remove the unused ones or at least hide them when not used.

are you watching your own stream while you stream? if so, stop. use a popout chat instead. even the preview window on the twitch dashboard will decrease performance.

monitor heat with something like HWinfo64 then post a screenshot after you stream and game. the important parts are CPU temps and if it ever throttles. if it does you might need to disable throttling.

I didn't have my webcam on the first time i tested it, still lagged. Do i need whole different scenes for different games? I've just been using one scene for all games.

Also i pause the stream on my dashboard so i figured it didn't take up any resources.

hide doesn't use up resources, pause still will cause issues. use a popout chat.

I never said anything about a webcam.

I prefer to use identical scenes (with different game capture) for each game. but that is up to you. If they are not being used, at least uncheck them. anything else on thermal issues? Hwinfo64 screenshot?

Well...you did say "What boildown said" but hey that's fine, here's a screenshot when the frame rate dips

I meant to run it in sensor mode. my apologies. this way it checks your min max of everything as well as if you are throttling.

No need to bump after short period. if we dont get back with you by tomorrow, then bump with some more info

Got a screenshot when the frame drop was happening, also now i have a new problem, The stream freezes for a few minutes at seemingly random times, here's a log;

I appreciate the time you're putting into this
you might see a line in there that says core parking yes or no.

also for simplicity, remove all sources that you aren't using. I've heard of ppl having issues with TS3 overlay, but I dont use it so I'm not sure

I could not find anything about thermal throttling, but i did get a screenshot of the cpu package at a high temp, maybe that's the problem?

62.9C? yeah, Actually AMD website says 61C is tops so any hotter and expect throttling. Its more than likely 65C where throttle kicks in but you are extremely borderline.

OMG just noticed your max is 79C. yeah, thats the issue.

I have a better than stock fan coming in tomorrow, (stock fan sucks) so hopefully that will fix it?
thermal paste will make a big difference as well. I trust antec formula7 but make sure to use this only on CPUs with heatspreaders since it contains nano diamond which can scratch silicon.
