Question / Help OBS Dropping Frames

Hello,

I've been working on this issue for quite some time now. I was streaming without any issues for a long time, until I upgraded to Windows 10. I've read the thread about how OBS Multiplatform isn't fully developed for Windows 10 and I understand there are probably hidden issues that haven't been addressed, but I am just out of options. It's been happening for awhile now. I haven't really had a good week where I don't drop any frames when I use to not drop any at all and I just cannot think of what could be interfering with my connection or OBS itself.

I've been to this thread and I've tried everything: https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/dropped-frames-disconnecting-lag-read-this-first.8870/

I've been alternating between the New York and Chicago servers with low bitrates and high bitrates with the same issues of dropping frames. Those are the closer servers with the least ping, bandwidth issues etc. They both have the same results.

I was streaming at 3,500 bitrate, which is recommended for high quality, and I have lowered it to 2,000 and tried streaming and still dropped frames.

I don't stream wireless.

I tried streaming to other services, YouTube for example, and still dropped frames.

I used Shaperprobe to check for any throttling on my network and it didn't detect any problems in that area. I also used some websites to check it as well, http://thenextweb.com/apps/2015/05/...are-secretly-throttling-your-internet-speeds/, to make sure I had two sources or more.

I've added ports for both Twitch and OBS which I've read that they're not really necessary, checked the firewall to make sure the program wasn't being blocked, and I've excluded it from my antivirus, which was never an issue in the past along with all these other possible issues.

I've tested my internet and I have 5.25 Mbps for upload and it is consistent and is reliable for HD streaming.

My network adapter is updated and my modem/router is working fine.

I've tried almost everything to fix this issue and I can't seem to get anything to work. I've contacted my ISP and they cannot find any issues with my connections. I've restarted my modem, checked the connection settings with no luck. Any help would be appreciated because I can't think of anything else to do.

1. You can't have used Shaperprobe. The servers are offline since months. Please don't lie if you're too lazy to read.

2. NVENC isn't recommended for livestreaming with OBS MP because it doesn't have a working CBR mode right now. Also quality will be quite bad.

3. I see that you have a 3 second stream delay activated. Any reason for that?

4. Have you actually tried what the disconnects / dropped frames thread suggests and used for example the twitch bandwidth tester?

I went to that link in the help thread and it said the page was unavailable so I just googled it and went to this site to get it.I did use the Shaperprobe program, but nothing came up so I assumed everything was fine. I didn't know the servers were down and I didn't see it on that page.

Yeah, I was using the x264 encoder and tested it. I switched to NVENC because I was just running out of options and was trying anything to see what worked and what didn't.

I have a 3 second delay because of the possibility of ghosting in ranked gameplay.

I used Twitch Test and it said that the best servers were either New York or Chicago from where I am. I've been switching back and forth with the same issues.

I uploaded a file with the x264 encoder on and streamed for about 3 minutes.
