I may be dong something wrong...

I want to broadcast at 1024X576 resolution which is 16:9 like my default 1920X1080. Why is there no downscale option available for that resolution? It moves from 480P - 540P - 616P. Maybe I don't understand how the downscale works, but I'd like to utilize the feature as everything I've read says that if you set the custom resolution to a lower level then it'll distort the quality.

We can't add every possible downscale resolution that matches your base resolution, the list would be enormous. Just type the resolution you want into the downscale box if it isn't listed.

I want to make sure I'm following you here - You mean to type the resolution into the "Base Resolution" > "Custom"? I don't have an option to manually type in the downscale resolution. So I want to clarify.

I also appreciate your reply and understand why not ALL resolutions aren't listed. My response is - Setting the 16:9 scale resolutions wouldn't be a ridiculous request. It is probably the most commonly utilized scale.

Now, if it is "base resolution" that I am adjusting, I refer you to this post

the admin says it will reduce quality over using the downscale listed ratios. If there is a way to manually set the downscale resolution - please let me know. Thanks.

Sorry, for some reason I thought you were using OBS Studio, which happens to be what you'll need to get your desired results. You can type in whatever base or downscale resolution you want if it isn't listed. In this case you'd type in a custom downscale resolution of 1024x576.
