What do I want: record screen and desktop audio, maybe mic sometimes.
What is happening: the bar doesn't move for desktop audio, and of course doesn't record anything. Mic is working properly.
My setup: a DAC (fiio k7), Voicemeeter potato. In voicemeeter a1 is set to asio fiio's driver. mic doesn't matter since it does work correctly. I have peace eq profile installed for fiio.
ALL the sound on my pc works correctly apart from recording.
All audio is output through VAIO3 Input on voicemeeter.
System audio is set to VAIO3 Input.
Browser, spotify etc, everything uses default (I did try to manually set apps to VAIO3 Input, same results).
OBS is not muted in volume mixer.
OBS input/output in windows sound settings is set to default.
OBS itself: tried both setting desktop audio to default and to VAIO3 Input, same result.
In output advanced settings under recording I have 3 tracks enabled, in desktop audio on the scene in advanced settings I do have all 6 tracks checked. Volume is set to 100%, it is not muted. Monitoring is set to off.
I did try disabling my antivirus in case it blocks access.
I did try running as admin.
I did try adding a separate audio capture and capture VAIO3 Input, same result.
I did try reinstalling obs fully.
I did check permissions in windows and could not find a setting that specifically states obs's access to desktop audio.
Desktop audio is not muted on the scene.
wtf help please
