I've been trying to understand if it was a Windows problem or an application problem.
Having said that, I've realized it is not from Windows, but actually from OBS itself.
I'm wondering if you guys can patch this bug quickly because my OCD, and other people's too, is driving me nuts, having to constantly resize the damn OBS WINDOW to where I placed it 20 times before.
What happens is I close OBS when visible to the right size of the screen (you know, snapped to the right). When I open it, it is no longer occupying the right half of the screen entirely. Instead it is around 100 pixels shorter in height at the bottom.
I know this is not hard to do. I mean for crying out loud, I have implemented this functionality in my own application (a twitch chat bot), and it NEVER, EVER, forgot its position/size.
