Hi everyone! First time on this forum!
My question: I want to use OBS to do a tutorial on ProTools. The interface I use with Protools is the Focusrite Saffire Pro40. OBS is able to record a signal that goes into a mic connected to the Pro 40's mic/line inputs. Unfortunately, it does not record the audio playing in ProTools. I tried using a sound recorder software (Audacity) but I have the same exact situation. The strange thing is that sounds produced by Windows (currently using 7), videos, music, etc (all being played outside of Protools) are recorded in OBS. In other words, I am able to record with OBS sounds going into Protools via the Saffire, sounds through Windows, but not sounds coming out of Protools.
