this been happening alot lately internet running just fine, updated all my hardware , and graphic card, and still problem continues, cant figure out whats going on. Every 30-1 hour into my stream it just randomly disconnect.

So I have read everything here, I even went to the "try this first" forum post. I too start my stream, and within a min or so get DC. My frame rate drops to 0, then it attempts to reconnect. Its funny how I keep seeing that mods are saying its networking issues when its clearly not. I spent over an hour on the phone with my ISP and they say everything is fine. So then I switched to Ffsplit and xsplit and they both work without an issue. And just to make sure it was not a network issue I have done every test imaginable, opened my ports, contacted twitch, etc. This is clearly a issue with OBS. On a different note, I did change my password yesterday, and that's when I started getting the issue. I have tried to change my stream key and also changed servers. I'm completely stumped. I would post my log files but they are similar to everyone else's who have this issue. I don't want to quit using OBS, but if I must, I must.

I'm just going to leave this here: https://twitter.com/TwitchStatus

I'm not saying its never OBS's fault when an "Aborting due to FD_CLOSE, error 0" happens, but you should seriously not make blanket statements and assume that it is if it happens.

when I have issues, I always check my stuff first then move on to other thing.

^another tool in my bag. run the long test for your region, its not guaranteed to disconnect because the test does not run for +30 minutes but if xsplit is working for you then switch to that. I would bet my dog that after a time using xsplit, a similar issue happens and then what?

All I'm saying is dont bite at "the mods" because your answer has been unresolved.

Lastly, google the FD_CLOSE error. this is a tcp socket error, not an OBS one. there are two main variationfo of FD_CLOSE that I see. error 0 (closed gracefully or by remote site or 10053, closed by other software) so if you start to get where your connection is stalling at or 0 bits sent, then just wait the 30 seconds and see what the error is.

I'm just going to leave this here: https://twitter.com/TwitchStatus

I'm not saying its never OBS's fault when an "Aborting due to FD_CLOSE, error 0" happens, but you should seriously not make blanket statements and assume that it is if it happens.

First: Your reading other peoples logs. Not my own. So give no judgment on me "biting at mods." I know I said that my logs where similar to others, but like I said you have not read my logs.

Second: I have used twitch test. I check twitch status daily. I ran ffsplit on a test screen for 1 hour last night and did not get disconnected.

Third: I have read hundred of these forums from all the way back to 2013, and not one mod or community contributor has been able to give a logical explanation but other then its on the user end. Its just not my answer unresolved, its hundreds of people who randomly get this issue.

I wont argue with you but in a sense, you are fighting with the wrong people. If you want help, post a new thread with your logfile from when this happen. please be sure that it is a log where you didn't disconnect if it was acting up, let OBS disconnect on its own.

If you dont want help and just want to complain, then I dont know what to tell you.
