Bug Report OBS cutting down FPS.

Is planetside 2 a DirectX9 game too? Jim fixed something with DirectX 9, Microsoft apparently blocked the Shared Texture capability of DX 9, the fix bypasses that block, the update with this fix should probably come soon.
 
Once this is public (next OBS update i think), i will compare fps ingame again with all 3 capture modes, but this time with DX11 and DX9 games, maybe switching from DX9 to DX11 ingame if possible (have to look up what games in my library will support this).
@Osiris What do you prefer, in 1 take (single OBS log) or different logs for each game?

It is DX9, this latest update seems to have fixed the FPS issue for PlanetSide2 atleast. I didn't test anything else I need coffee for that.

OBS-MP seems to be working fine for me now, I had it on OpenGL mode for some reason
 
The last update solved the fps problem for sure. When I use x264 it still not soft enough, I can feel that something is wrong like it still lagging or something.
 
I upgraded from Windows 7 to 10, and there are no issues with frame loss at all on my rig. The only problem I have is with BLUE Yeti Pro mic, which is down to BLUE to update their drivers (and I have worked out a fix for that in the mean time.

My guess is most of these issues are not OBS, but the rigs people are using.
 
The rigs are more than fine, most of them are actually just pure overkill. There was a confirmed issue with the older version of OBS.
 
I still see some FPS drops in games like Rust, but this is a) alpha/early access, b) unoptimized piece of crap eating my CPU alive & c) CPU-load around 90% so it might be OBS running into problems.
This is the last log (was recording with 35000kbps most of the time, the beginning is just messing around cause i forgot to set it to recording):

Got a shitload of Cleared D3D11 Capture messages in the log, no idea what should i think about it, specially while recording for 1,5 hours straight.

Also the performance is a bit lower than expected, with win8.1 i could record with same settings but slower preset (faster), right now i have to fall back to veryfast, otherwise OBS would overload my CPU. I expected the performance would be better, not worse on a new fresh system (and in general i got a nice performance boost with win10, but not with OBS)...
