Question / Help OBS Crashing

For some reason OBS Studio started crashing today. I didn't update anything or change my hardware. It just randomly started doing it today for a total of 5 times so far. It crashed while I was streaming Rainbox 6 Siege and NBA 2K17. I will upload one of the reports.

@t3chtron Where's your crashlog?

Bucc: Does the problem persist in a new scene collection? Does the problem persist with your internet security software temporarily uninstalled?

Yes it still happens on any scene I am on. I never tried uninstalling my internet security because I wouldn't think that would cause it to crash.

I said Scene COLLECTION. Yes it matters.

And sometimes internet security software can indeed cause these crashes, especially with the browser plugin.

Yes it still crashed on a fresh Scene Collection. I will try removing all internet security next.

Removed internet security and it still crashes. I did notice that when I run a game on Window Borderless and use Window Capture with OBS it crashes very frequently. I start seeing my internet browser (that shows my chat and what not on my other monitor) flicker from time to time. And this only happens when I use these settings. I will try a game less demanding like WoW in Window Capture to see if this is the main issue.

Why are you using Window Capture instead of Game Capture? Also, why are you on OBS Studio 0.13.4 instead of 0.15.4? OBS Studio 0.13.4 was released six months ago.

Please post your regular log files in addition to your crash log files.

Cause Game Capture hardly ever works... And I didn't know there was a update for OBS Studio cause I haven't gotten a notice or anything. I will give you my latest Log File.

Update to OBS Studio 0.15.4 and try again. Post new logs when you do.

FRAPS can conflict with OBS Studio. Don't run both.

Cause Game Capture hardly ever works
Only because you've got something incompatible installed or set.

Conflicts with Game Capture: Other capture programs, Razer Synapse (disable heatmaps), graphics mods like ENBSeries and SweetFX, and any type of software or utility that displays an in-game overlay like EVGA Precision, MSI Afterburner, TS3/Mumble overlays, Dolby Axon, Raptr, Overwolf, etc. If you use D3DGear it must be uninstalled completely.

Let me rephrase that. NBA 2k didn't crash that runs off steam. But Rainbow Six Siege did, which uses uplay.
Will see if it keeps crashing if I change it to Screen Capture and Game Capture.
