So I'll start off by saying I used to be able to stream L4D2 fine, and about two weeks ago (I'd like to say after updating to v0.638b but not 100% sure) I'm unable to. The issue is as follows using game capture in full screen:
1) If I launch the game, minimize to start the stream then tab back in the game is a black screen. You are able to hear everything and as far as I tell still move the mouse around. But obviously the black screen makes it impossible
2) Start the stream on the desktop then launch the game, which will cause it to fail to launch and immediately crash.
I've toyed with settings, different things and I was hoping someone could give me insight or maybe tell me how to go back to an older version to test if that is the issue. The main thing I'll say is I'll try anything except for using window mode with monitor capture because it makes the game far too dark for my purposes. Full screen game capture streaming needs to be working.

Edit: Just realized I made the thread title OBS crashing with L4D2, that's a bit misleading as it crashes the game instead of OBS.
