OBS crashing win 10 white screen after trying to refresh a source window capture

The log is below, not suire what i changed.. But i am streaming using NDI and my laptop streams the NDI been smooth for weeks.. And something changed, not sure what i did. I was bindiing at first, but i put that back to default. I tried binding, because i was behind a VPN on computer running the stream and the laptop thats actually broadcasting outside my local network, and was still having issues with chat reloading constantly when behind vpn, so i changed it back to default and thought all settings were back, but ever since then, it seems that had something to do with it, not really sure... just want to get it up and running smooth. Thanks in advance if you can help!!!! Log file attached, said too big to post..

So i ran the log thru the analyzer and i changed up my audio properties to match up with the 48khz and made sure binding was at default, cause noticed it was not set properly.. So far its running ok... Oh also put windows into game mode and whatever else it suggested.. I'm gonna see what happens, but if anyone notices anything bad in my log, let me know and ill make changes or clean some things up... I need to get rid of a lot of scenes and sources that i never use, it is starting to add up. I'll check this every few hours... Thanks again... maybe i fixed the issue, to be determined... Any other input greatly appreciated... thanks!
 
Nope still not working, still crashes everytime, ill have to go to sources and open them up and reapply the window grab sometimes, never a problem, but now everytime i go to change/update the sources window grab, by using the dropdown and choosing chrome, then title of page, usually loads and updates on screen, but now, i click the drop down to choose the window and thats where the SCREEN TURNS WHITE and then aoo just gets stuck and freezes and i have to hard close it, with task manager an reopen it and it works for a few and then same thing... any help would be much appreciated
 
well this sucks, i guess nobody else has this issue or never has had this issue... ill keep waiting... and checking hourly...
 
Due to the crash being in the browser modules PLUS you using the ".live" plugin from streamelements, we can't really prevent the crash.

To cleanly remove the OBS.live plugin:


  1. Uninstall OBS.Live
  2. Uninstall OBS Studio (make sure that "User Settings" is not selected)
  3. Install OBS Studio again from https://obsproject.com/
    Your settings will be saved unless you have selected to delete them during removal.

Hay I appreciate it, will remove that... I guess i cant use stream elements? cause i used that for bots and contests, notifications, followers etc... what would u recommend i do so i still get those to pop up on screen if im no longer using obs live... I guess i could still use those overlays in regular obs and it will work, ill give that a try first... appreciate you!!! will let you know outcome... Any more info or advice, i'll gladly take from you, so if u say S.Elements is garbage, ill take your word, (I know u never said that, so if u were to tell me that tho), again, thanks a ton!!! will respond with outcome in next couple hours
 
You can use their alerts, etc fine without their plugin as they are just webpages, and the browser modules used by OBS are CEF 75 (SE's .live plugin replaces them with CEF 74 with some performance patches removed). If you need an overlay you can see yourself, their ground control application MAY offer it, but you'd need to contact them in regards to that.
 
thanks for the heads up, yeah this is all new to me, i basically just trying to stream some window grabs to show some stock charts and smaller window grabs that i cut and only grab ticker prices, so i have multiple window grabs pulling from the same website because that's the only way i can make it a line across bottom of screen, otherwise the tickers im grabbing it from go from top of web page to bottom, and i just want like 8 of them and they are on the bottom of page, im sure that's not good, being that its pulling from same page and multiple sources, but like i said, im learning this daily and so many options and it gets confusing at times, and sometimes you really got to manipulate some things to get them to work, like pulling a window from my tradingview app, constantly loses it in the source, Im assuiming its because the price changes, so the window title changes and that confuses it, and i have tried changing all the options in that, like choose window with same exe if title doesnt match, etc, etc, tried them all, even tried changing to windows 7, windows 10, on and on, and it constantly loses it and i try to regrab it and it just wont grab, remains blank in the preview. I did turn accelerater off in CHROME, someone told me to do that, i leave it on in OBS, web accelerator, but still hasnt fixed problem, cause i have same issue if i am using web version of tradingview, it will also lose the grab at times and i cant re-pull it in, the preview just remians black, empty. This is one of my major major issues using obs and obs live and slabs, actually, slabs actually worked but i dont have anything setup to use that, and would rather not do all the setup on streamlabs.. any suggestions or input on what im doing wrong would be gratefully appreciated, and thanks for your responses!!!
 
so far its held up as far as not crashing, however, istill cant grab the chart windows from tradingview app, i can every once in awhile but ill lose it and have to try and regrab and it just wont, hate that i cant get a reliable grab, and I dont want to share the display because i have other stuff going on there too, i have 4 displays BTW, 4 monitors. 32 gigs of mem, i dont think its the computer holding me back... I dunno, but so far not crashing, using NDI as well to send it to laptop and laptop is sending stream signal out.. all working fine, besides issues with the OBS window grabs and showing the souces with source switcher and rotating between charts from tradingview app and browser, browser works for most part, having issues with trading view grabs at times... other then that, all seems good so far, thanks for all input.. Any input on window grabs from the tradingview app?? lol thanks!!!
 
I spoke too soon, just getting the white screen again... what can I do now, i cant get a good log, cause i have to force shut it down. how do i go about getting a log, from the crash though if i have to force stop it everytime
 
here is a link to current log, i think it came back, i didnt have to restart it, but i left it going while it was getting jammed up with white screen, went and did some things came back and it was unfrozen, so this is current log from that, i hit record for about 30 seconds and then stopped it and had the log analyzed, current log...
