As i try and stream my game i'll start seeing some lag pull and then OBS instantly crashes. The game runs fine on it's own when i don't run OBS wit it. It recently started and i'm not sure what is causing the problem. I'll be posting a log below and i apologize in advance if i do it wrong. I'm new to the forums.

Thanks!

Would you be able to point me in the right direction on where i could find it? Also, i get "Texture Map Failed" Tells me my video card has froze but reset. This error can also occur if you have enabled opencl in x264 custom settings. Which i don't have checked.

You can't use Monitor Capture right now on NVIDIA laptops as there appears to be a problem with the mobile GPU drivers. Er, actually there was a driver update released very recently, so maybe try updating to see if that fixes it.

Side note: Twitch only allows a maximum of 160kbps for AAC audio bitrate and you must be using CBR as per their broadcast requirements: http://help.twitch.tv/customer/portal/articles/1253460

Definitely caused by the nvidia or intel driver bug for windows 8+ monitor capture. Just have to avoid using monitor capture. I think you can also switch adapters to avoid this bug, though I'm not 100% sure. There's two sets of drivers at work here, intel integrated adapter drivers (where it always crashes), and the nvidia drivers. So I would assume you have OBS set to run on the nvidia in this case.

Thank you for your replies! I switched some of my settings around and i tried Game capture but that gives me just a black screen. I do have the options to set which video adapter i would like to use and i have my nvidia set. Here's my recent crash just now and was wondering is there some other settings i need to change around?

You get a black screen with game capture because you're on a laptop. You need to use nvidia's control panel, "3D settings", and add OBS.exe and set it to use the nvidia.

If the game is directx 9+ or opengl, then if you get a black screen with game capture on an nvidia laptop, the game and OBS are set to run on different adapters. Again, change the game and/or OBS in nvidia's settings. Use the global tab in nvidia's "3d settings" even to set everything to nvidia. It just means they're running on different adapters.
