Bug Report OBS crashing/problems with installation

When installing OBS v0.6 (latest) I get this error:

If I press ignore, and install it without that file and try to record I get this crash log:

I've tried that a few times already, I still get the same errors.

Did you already have OBS 0.592 installed when you tried to install this? Because all you had to do to update is run OBS, and it would have auto-updated for you.

Have you tried doing a fresh uninstall, reboot, and reinstall?

I don't know what version I had but I updated to 0.6 from an older version then it didn't work, then I uninstalled and tried to fresh download+install OBS 0.6 (haven't tried restarting pc, not sure if that'll help)

Restarting the computer and then installing/updating it is the easiest way to solve the issue.

Update both your video drivers and try again. If problems persist, use window capture, game capture can crash on mixed GPU setups due to poor drivers.
