Question / Help OBS Crashing after Switching from PC to Console

Hello,

I am trying to stream my consoles (Playstation 3 & Wii U ) using OBS and ElGatoHD to Twitch. My PC, a custom built desktop is connected to my TV which is what I also use to play my consoles via HDMI switch. The PC is connected to the internet via ethernet. I am able to preview the stream and live stream from within OBS for as long as I want without issue.

When I switch via my HDMI switch from my PC to my console the game itself plays fine without any hiccups. But if I try to view my own stream on my cellphone via 4G or Wifi it freezes anywhere from about a minute to 3 minutes after i start playing the game.

I then go back to my PC to find OBS has crashed with the "it is not responding" error.

I've messed around with alot of the settings, uninstalled and reinstalled OBS, used default settings but same error. The only thing I've come up with is maybe there is an issue with the ElGatoHD having a conflict with multiple devices on the same HDMI connection. My current internet plan gives me 5Mbps but i'm getting closer to 6 with the ethernet connection. I can go up to 10Mbps by paying for a better plan or getting a new router but wanted to check with you guys here first before spending more money. The router itself is not bad but its not a recognized brand but only about 2 years old.

Below is my latest log, crash dump, PC specs & internet speed.

PC SPECS

Intel i7-4790K
16GB RAM
Windows 7 64 bit
256GB SSD
1 TB HD

Please make sure to post a log file as well as a crashlog (not just the dump) if possible.

You shouldn't be casting to Twitch at anywhere close to 5mbps.

It does sound a bit like the Elgato may not be handling the renegotiation after the source switch-over well.

I followed the instructions on one of the pages here for the attachments. The attachment with the weird long name should be the crash log which I had to zip because of the size.

If it's not then I'll try to add it later since I'm not home right now.
