Using windows 7. Have had NO issues at all, but just recently received one of the standard updates in OBS updating the broadcast list and stuff.

Now whenever i start streaming on wow, it will crash my game. I was streaming before PERFECTLY.

I am playing the game windowed borderless, and I am using game capture.

Outside of two fixes for two completely unrelated games, game capture hasn't changed at all, I'm not sure if this is version related. Do you have any other capture programs active? Did you by chance turn on any overlays, such as teamspeak or mumble overlays? When the game crashes, it's almost always due to a conflict with another program.

EDIT: woops, bad places to make typos

to my knowledge, nothing has changed. I am on this basically daily, and I havent turned on or off anything new.

I installed a new addon for WoW called Oqueue and thats when i noticed this happening. but that is internal and other people i know of are not having the issue and are using both fine.

Addons for the game shouldn't cause problems, as they're not programs. Do you use sweetfx or anything either? Those are also known conflicts. Sometimes programs like MSI afterburner can also cause similar conflicts. Unfortunately I'm sort of at a loss of what's going on -- could you try launching WoW with DirectX 9 mode instead and see if that changes anything at all?

sweetfx, i downloaded and never installed or used. I want to though.

MSI, I had it but i don't think its compatible with my graphics card for some reason, so i never used it past once, and that was ages ago.

it seems to be working somewhat now...I am in game, OBS is open and it let me stream very shortly during a test...I will try again right now...and it looks like its working...maybe a third PC reboot was the charm?
