Bug Report OBS crashes when recording both video and audio from Elgato HD60

OBS has no problem recording video only from my Elgato HD60, but I noticed that the audio device is turned off. When I enter the device's preferences to turn it on, OBS freezes for a few seconds, then the preview screen shows a "No device" display. When I turn the audio capture off once again, OBS freezes then continues displaying the video properly. Audio capture works correctly with the Game Capture HD software provided by Elgato. Is this a bug from Elgato, from OBS, or something else?

Then you need to reinstall the elgato software and NOT have it running while trying to use the elgato with obs.

By the way, I happened to find an actual crash file in my crashDumps folder. It's from today so it may or may not be related to this bug:

I completely purged both OBS and Elgato, including the user settings. Then I reinstalled Elgato then OBS, and finally opened OBS. The same issue happens: the capture freezes when audio capture is on, but doesn't when audio capture is off.

Something else: I've been using the original OBS all this time, should I test my luck with Multiplatform?
