OBS requires an audio device and a GPU and is unlikely to work well under RDP sessions. Try a solution that uses the console session (eg teamviewer).

The console is the workstation / desktop session, the same one you would use if you were physically in front of the PC. RDP uses virtualized audio which ends when the session ends, which is likely breaking OBS.

Can confirm, OBS stops working when the audio source is removed.

If you're piping the data through a capture card, use VNC or Teamviewer, so the user session stays logged in and the audio device is active. If otherwise, try using FFMPEG on the server instead.

I'm not going to Skype you and it's not necessary. Use Teamviewer to remote into your dedicated PC. It's free and it'll fix your problem.

Yes, close Remote Desktop, then connect to the machine using Teamviewer. That's it. That's all you have to do. Set a permanent password in Teamviewer so you can always connect to it.
