Question / Help OBS crashes when doing just about anything.

I've used OBS before with no problems, but the other day I tried to start a stream in the same way that has worked previously, and the stream wouldn't go online. After noticing this, OBS seems to crash when I do anything with streaming. If I click preview or start stream, it continues to say that the stream is offline, and if I click anything after this, OBS crashes. I've updated my drivers, restarted my computer, and read the Laptop? sticky with no help. Can anyone help me with this?

strong for what? a laptop? sure. strong for a gaming + encoding machine? no
Well it's worked in the past with no problems, so I don't know what to tell you. The multiplatform program seems to work though, so I guess I'll just use that from now on?

Its a new build instead of the old OBS which has been patched for years. the new build is new as in the back end is better coded. the UI changed as well.
