Bug Report obs crashes unexpectedly

Hi, my OBS has been having issues from the start for me. It crashes unexpectedly from time to time. All the time it's the same unhandled epression (c0000005) and always comes from c:\program files\obs\libx264-142.dll .

It happens when I preview stream or stream. Here is a dmp file. It says cpu is at 3.5GHz, but it's overclocked to 4.2GHz.

Turn off the overclock.

I'll try that, but I really hope I could overclock my cpu.

You probably can, you just need to make sure it's stable afterwards. x264 crashes generally indicate instability.

Thank you for the reply. For now I am running at stock clock speed and no bugs at all. I might try to overclock a bit in the future to maybe stream at 60fps, but for now 40 is fine. Just did 9 hours non stop without any problems!
