Bug Report OBS crashes everytime I try to stream or preview stream

I have looked everywhere and still have found no solution to this. It is very frustrating and any help would be much appreciated! I have windows 8 32-bit with x64-based processor. I have AMD FX(tm) - 8150 eight-Core processor 3.60 GHz.

When i try to stream it says woops! OBS has crashed! and here is the crash report

Jim, I can help you out basically whenever you want I would also love to know what is causing this crash I will try out those builds and see if it helps! thanks for the help :)

I seem to recall other people having the exact same problem, and the cause was the 32-bit version of Windows 8. I'm not sure what the underlying cause for the crash is, perhaps some incompatibility in the x264 encoder, but if possible you should just use the 64-bit version of Windows 8 anyway, as there is no performance or compatibility benefit to using the 32-bit version of the operating system.

Also, I doubt using a capture card would help, as you would still be encoding your stream either way.

You didn't state if the x264 125 build I gave you works or not. Did it not work?

The x264 125 build that you gave me did not work jim sorry forgot to let you know. The same problem persisted unfortunately
