Things I have tried to resolve the issue:

1). Used LinX to test for stability issues with CPU/RAM (No errors found)
2). Reinstalled OBS
3). Updated video card drivers

This is my first time having stability issues with OBS and I am out of ideas.

Thanks for the help!

If it crashes in x264, then that usually is more indicative of hardware issues than software issues, more often than not. x264 is a library that OBS depends upon so it's not technically OBS' code. I'll check the crash data though.

Thanks for the quick reply about this issue! I used the search function before making this post and decided to try removing my CPU overclock to see if that was the issue. After returning to stock clock/voltages, the problem still persisted. I have been using OBS since the beginning of this year with and without overclock in place without issue until recently. RAM is also set to default values, no overclocking there either.

Besides a new mouse last week, there have been no other hardware changes which is strange considering the issue started a few days ago. I will be running more stability tests to see if I can isolate what hardware might be failing on me.

Thanks for the help and guiding me in the right direction for a solution to this.
