Question / Help Obs Conversion/Editing error

hmmm this is odd. still recieving errors. my goal here is to create the video. and make a montage with windows movie maker meaning i have to convert it to .wmv right? but as i said before no conversion software can render the file

You might need to install a codec pack to get the files to work in windows movie maker.

ive tried to install a codec before. it didnt seem to work but im almost 90% sure i did it wrong so any tips on how to do that and what codec i should get?

You're going to need one for h264 video and one for AAC audio.
