OBS Closes Unexpectedly On MacOS

I am having a problem with a MacBook from 2017 running macOS 13.7.2 and when I try to open OBS it opens for a quick second then closes and gives me a error message saying it closed unexpectedly. I have tried 2-3 times uninstalling in and reinstalling it but it still gives me the same error. Know any fixes for this?

This might work, so it's worth a try. I keep my older versions of OBS in case the newer one crashes. However, I understand this is not a new version. I would download an older version of OBS then go into the settings folder found in one of the menus on the top left of your mac desktop. Scroll down to the basic folder then scroll down to scenes. Back those scenes up then delete them. Restart OBS. It should open as a clean first time. After that you can reload what you want to. Keep in mind you may need to reload your . lua scripts. I say this because I think older versions share much of the same stuff as newer versions. I've used this a fix before. Good luck!
